Our introduction to Paris occurred on a sunset Seine river cruise. It was an overcast day with some rain while we were on the cruise it was perfect for dramatic views of the city as you can see with these pictures.
We stayed in a lovely little hotel in the 18th arrondissement in the Montmartre neighborhood just up the hill from the Moulin Rouge. The area around the hotel was great with many little shops and fantastic restaurants. Our best find was a little 4 table restaurant that was a deli during the day and in the evening the brought out 4 tables and served amazing food.
On our second day in Paris ventured to Notre Dame, St. Chapelle, and the Left Bank. After we spent the morning with the group we had free time to wander through Paris and we stuck mostly to the St. Germaine district and found an amazing lunch spot called the Le Comptoir du Relais. If you go to Paris and are in St. Germaine for lunch I would highly recommend it.
Our final day in Paris started with a trip through the Louvre where we had a entertaining and informative tour. We saw classic works of Art like the Mona Lisa and the beautiful building that is the Louvre itself.
